Since time immemorial, you have supported us in victories and even more so in times of defeats, and, for that and much more, you will always have a special place in our hearts. From the dusk of the 20th century and the incipient dawn of the 21st century, you have always supported us all the way through. In Dowon Stadium, Suwon Stadium, and even here, in Mokdong Stadium, your resolute and unwavering love and support bears a great meaning to us. Ever since Heroes was founded, your voices and support have resonated throughout Seoul, the island of Jeju-do, Pusan, Gwangju and other numerous cities around the country. In grateful recognition of your unwavering loyalty and support, we dedicate this following narrative of our history to you, our fans.

In MLB, many baseball clubs boast a long history of traditions that have lasted at least more than a hundred years. In times when club managers were changed, when franchises were relocated, or even when the club names were changed, their fans still honored their existing traditions and history of their respective teams. The Seoul Heroes professional baseball club highly regards such spirit exhibited in MLB. When the Hyundai Unicorns disbanded in 2007, companies voiced numerous reasons and concerns in taking over the Hyundai Unicorns; in this tense and evasive environment, the Seoul Heroes professional baseball club was established to succeed the players and front staff of the Hyundai Unicorns for the bright future and progress of Korean baseball and ultimately heralded a new beginning.

We can proudly boast that we have succeeded the history and traditions of the Hyundai Unicorns since the then-Hyundai Unicorn players became our active players who had played since the previous times of the Pacific Dolphins and when Hyundai Unicorns relocated to Seoul as its home city, and also by the fact that we exercised our draft nominations rights from the Hyundai Unicorns that took full account of their then-records.

No one can deny that the Heroes was formerly the Hyundai Unicorns and that before then, it was the Pacific Dophins, and before the Pacific Dolphins, there were the Chungbo Pintos and the Sammi Superstars. The story of Heroes had already begun twenty years ago.
